Forgot to add, I ran a slightly higher temp 100-100.5 on both my hatches this year and had early hatches (2 days) which I've read is a common.

Shes beautiful...Mine has been about that because of aforementioned reason of old house. I do have a broody that took them halfway there. But for the experience of my daughter I grabbed them and put them in the incubator for her to see hatch but with the staggered hatch I might just put them back under her since they haven't piped yet and keep the other eighteen in the incubator for her.. broody has not broken and she's a cochin that's obsessed with babies.

So the 7 day eggs aren't getting turned for 3 - 4 days, or you're opening up the incubator on lockdown. Neither one of these is ideal conditions. The first two weeks are most critical for turning. If it was closer to 14 day old eggs, it wouldn't hurt and you could just let them be in lockdown too and just split the difference of the humidity and do 60%. I think that's what I'd do.I know i've been going crazy looking at photos on here and on facebook of little babies in my group's. So long story short. I have a staggered hatch in the incubutor right now. I have about 18 eggs (LF cochin) that are on day 7 and then I have 3 that are backyard mix eggs that are on day twenty now.
