Eggs and meat from Guinea fowl?

I've heard the meat is really good. I cooked one of the eggs for my husband and he said it was salty--couldn't have been my fault! I think they're about like chicken eggs, just smaller. Does make sense they would have more flavor because of all the bugs they eat.

Eggs not so much unless you keep them locked up. Guineas rarely lay in nest boxes and probably majority of the time don't even lay in the coop. Otherwise the eggs are not of a good size for baking but would work for anything that doesn't require an exact size. They make good meat birds if you like dark meat. Some commercial farms are actually trying to make large numbers of guinea x chicken hybrids for meat birds.

I do a few folks that like the taste of them and they say it's not bad at all.
