Eggs broken under roost bar

Had our first egg on Sunday…perfect and in the nest box. The second day found a broken egg under the roost bar and today there were 2 broken eggs under the roost bar. Seems like the hen got it right the first time and now is just pooping out eggs! Also, she did the "egg song" without laying an egg both days (but obviously laid the eggs later!). Is there a strategy to get her to repeat using the nest box? Also, I am new to chickens.

Put some plastic easter eggs or a couple golf balls in the nest...chcikens are creatures of habit and tend to lay where other chickens lay....golf balls work amazing
