Eggs fertile , fully developed but don't hatch

If the humidity is too low during hatch when they pip the dry air causes the membrane in the shell to shrink and dry tightly around them and they can't get out
I could see that as being a problem .

I have hatched a couple of singletons, and I have found youtube videos with an hour or more sound and sight of chicks chirping. I had a singleton hatch and he was lonely, so I played him those videos until I could get to the feed store and get him some friends. He actually watched the videos! It really helped. I believe it would help with hatching, too.
