I have three lovely girls that will be 22 weeks tomorrow- My "Ameraucana" (I know she is really an EE but she thinks she is an Ameraucana) laid the first egg! I was a bit surprised since she was always a week or two behind the others in getting her tail feathers, pea comb and everything else. It is the most beautiful slate blue egg ever- cannot wait to see what is to come in the nesting box the rest of the week- I think my BSL will be laying next and then my barred rock.
