Eggs for hatching!

How long can you leave eggs in the coop, and still be able to produce a chick? Another question say you got eggs and don't want to hatch them just yet. Can you store the eggs somehow and get them out later and still have sucess in hatching lil ones?

I had ten hatch today and there are still two she is sitting on that hung around in the nest for almost two weeks before someone decided to sit on them.
