First of all i would like to say a big hello from essex in england.

IAM A NEWBIE And Need Lots OF Help....(this is my first time incubating.(so far so good) Ok Here Go"s

i have built my incubator in a cool box fitted computer fan and water trays, glass window light bulb and dimmer switch, clear tube into water tray and funnel on the outside to keep up humidity(so i dont lose temp & hum opening lid) have the digital temp and humidity box. and wire tray to hold my eggs (30) of mixed ones.
temp is 100.1 humidity is 65% all good (no probs)

so my eggs came from a farm that sells all sorts of chickens and have some loverly cockerals
i have candled my eggs and i would say that i have maybe 5 clear eggs that have nothing in, But all the others have the black dot and the veins in them.i(am on day 6)
me and my wife have turned them 5 times a day and thinking of slowing down to 3 times a day....
here is my problem when i candle most of the eggs are free in side the egg(when i turn it ) But Some Are A lot Slower To Turn Freely Is This Still Ok.
the only way i can discribe it is (the fluid is thicker in side) AND Are the eggs always going to be free turning when i candle or will they stay put on the inside as time goes on..
we are all happy with the thought of having chickens. but want to make sure i am doing it right.
i have a brooder in place and heat lamps waiting...etc.

and when i candle the brown eggs there"s a large dark mass, is this ok or is it a bad one....
i hope someone can help me on my way.
all answers greatfully apprecated ...
THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HAVE ANSWERED ME. AND HAVE REDUCED HUMIDITY TO 40-43%

I think your eggs are fine. I would only turn 2-3 times a day. Some will develop at different rates. That is why you are seeing the difference. Also, You will not know for sure until day 14 candle. Be patent. They are going fine.

I would personally lower humidity....has nothing to do with what you asked but 65% sounds a bit high for the first 18 days...

First off WELCOME TO BYC! Ok, you have candled on day 6 so in the other eggs you don't see anything YET you can still leave those in for a few more days. The embryo may just be too small to see quite yet. I would continue to turn them 3-5 times a day just as you are doing and candle again on day 12 or so. THEN you can toss any that do not look right. It sounds as if you have a pretty good grasp and you will gain more confidence as you get experience. Good Luck!

your nose is your best friend when incubating IMO, I always sniff when I open the bator, no smell then all is good(at least not going to explode). Also look at the eggs to make sure they don't weep, that is also a bad sign

65% humidity????? I would personally lower it. mine is 30 -40% then day 18+ up it to 64-75% (chickens)

4th don't toss any till at least days 10-14, by then you will see clears and blood ring right away. this will also help with ur slow turners, you know if there no good. last time I didn't throw anything away till day 18. gotta be carfull with that.
5th yes you can turn just 3 x a day but don't do an even nuber of times. reason being you don't want them laying on the same side every night
6th as for the brown eggs and the large dark mass, maybe a hen was sitting on them

dark ones are so hard to see in anyways. just wait for a while. but if you smell something

start smelling the eggs to find the
