Eggs have see through spots or grease looking marks

Does anyone know what causes this? These are all from the same chicken. Usually her eggs are a solid blue but sometimes her eggs look like they have grease stains on them. My husband is convinced that they taste different too.

My guess is it just a pigment thing. Sometimes they don't always have the same pigment applied consistently.

Blue and green eggs actually have bilirubin as part of the pigment which is a component of blood, so sometimes if they lay a lot the color can change as it's physically taxing to produce it.

Curious....are they porous? Try candling to see.

Porous was also my thought, I was having a lot of porous eggs while the temps were in the neg 20's.

Whenever any colored egg of mine has looked like this, the shell was porous & just thinner overall.
