eggs not hatching but are moving been 5 days

My eggs are 5 days late to hatch but they have been moving from tne time they should have hatched til now. i dont know what to do.

they dont make sounds just move from time to time. they have done this 5 day now.

they reached 21 days on the 5th so i am worried.

Are they in an incubator or under a hen? Is it possible that the movements are from you or the hen moving around them and upsetting the floor? If they're in an incubator, has the temperature been 99 the whole time? One time I had a malfunction in my incubator and the temp went down to about 90 for two days. After about 25 days and no chicks, I thought they were dead. So, I started throwing them out. To my surprise, the first one that broke had a live chick in it. I lost that one, but put the rest back and they later hatched. That is not always the case, though. Another time I had some eggs that I thought were moving, so I kept them in the incubator longer than normal. They ended up being rotten and the "movement" was the egg slowly getting ready to blow up. Our incubator and the room it was in smelled like rotten eggs for about a week after that even after cleaning it up! I would suggest smelling the eggs to make sure they are not rotten. If you don't notice any weird scent, it is probably safe to keep them another day or two just in case. That's just opinion from my own personal experience. Good luck!

thank you. They were in a incubater sadly it was the later. my eggs were rotten. But mine didnt pop on me. i checked them all and none were good . Thanks again you helpped. It could have been worse they could have broke in my incubater.

So sorry to hear that! At least you didn't have a room smelling like rotten eggs for a week, though. There's always a next time to get more chicks!
