I placed a batch of 6 eggs on 9 April in my homemade incubator. All of the eggs were developing nicely. Its 30 April today i.e., 22nd day and not single egg has hatched. I candled the eggs to see of anything is wrong but they all looked fine. I could see movement in every egg.
What could be wrong? If they don't hatch after 23rd day, what shall i do?

Sounds like your homemade incubator wasn't at the right temperature. Now you will just have to wait to see when they might hatch.
Do you have any candling picture of them so we can guess around what stage they are in?

If you set the eggs on 9 April today is day 21 so hang tight. You count the day you set them as day 0. If the temperature was off it can delay development which will delay hatching. What's the temp inside the incubator?

Thanks a lot for replying!!!! The avg temp stays between 36 degree and 37.5 degree. I took images of two of the eggs. There is movement inside both.
Will the chicks be fine?

Great pics! The air cell looks a little small but your temp is good. What's your humidity? Does the air cell draw down on one side?

I think its going to be 3 or 4 more days until your chicks are ready to hatch. There is still a lot of empty space in your egg that needs filled in.
I wouldn't even expect them to pip until 4 more days.
36'C = 96.8'F
Way to low...

I don't have a humidity indicator in my incubator. I made it out of a thermacol box. I placed a bowl of water in it. So i can never be sure about the humidity level.

You may want to lessen the humidity a bit to get the air cells to draw down more. The pic you shared is what I would expect to see around day 14 or so. Use something smaller. A wide, shallow puddle creates more humidity than a narrower deep one. Or take it out altogether and candle again in 24 hours. When the chicks hatch they'll create more humidity.

I read online that we are supposed to inc the humidity during the last days. So i should i remove the water bowl all together?

I am worried about one thing. On one side of the egg there is a lot of empty space . The chicks seem to be concentarted on one side . Why did this happen? I rotated the eggs strictly till the 18th day 4 times everyday. 😟
