Eggs of black tail white Japanese

Hello, i sat 2 eggs of black tail white Japanese, on 5th day i find out that one which i sat 7 days after being laid is fertile and is developing but one which i sat 2 days after being laid is infertile which seems to be strange 2 me, anyone here can help me abt that?

Just depends on the rooster- maybe he was having a bad week.

(IE: He bred to her and the one got fertilized but she didn't have enough of him left to make the second fertile)
