Eggs without shells and losing feathers on her head?!

Hi Everyone I'm really stumped by this. One of my hens has not been laying and when she does it seems as if there is no shell. She's also been losing feathers on her head and I know it's not from being pecked by another hen. She is an Amereucana and is
almost 2 years old. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

"almost 2 years old" is the prime time for a hard molt. I'm guessing that's what's happening here. Molting hens quit laying, lose feathers...from mild to severe feather loss, their combs often become smaller and pale and they're quieter/not as interactive. It's a normal thing, they start regrowing feathers and look much better in a few weeks. Once the feathers come back in they start laying again.
