We have 22 female ducks. I planned this because I was hoping for at least a dozen eggs on average a day. As of today we’re getting 4 eggs a day!!! I’m so incredibly excited. Once we reach 1 dozen a day, I can fulfill my vision of a big family breakfast with eggs and oatmeal for everyone. I’d absolutely love it if we could do that by the start of the school year, but I’m probably dreaming.
