eggs

how long can eggs stay in the nesting box before i should throw them out. i have a porcelan mille flora hen that has been mated. and i was not sure how long i should leave the eggs in the box. if she does not go brooding.

I am assumeing you are talking about her setting, Well I would go about 10-12 days, you could always mark the oldest eggs & as she lays more take the older eggs out, you never know she may never sit, I dont know anything about this breed.

Thank You for the responce. I do mark the eggs as she lays them but I beleive she will not set on this batch. I will have to try and find another milli flora bamtam rooster for her. and maybe get better odds.
