Your chickens' eggs will become the centerpiece of conversation with your new Eggshell Mosaic!
Eggshell Mosaics are created by recycling old eggshells and transforming them into beautiful art. Eggshells are hand dyed and then individually placed on the canvas to create an original masterpiece.
You can order an already-made piece, or send your own flocks' eggshells for a more personal touch.
If you would like to use your own eggs, the process is simple:
1) Crack a raw egg. Rinse the eggshell and remove the inner membrane (either peel the membrane out or rub your finger along the inner shell to remove membrane). Dry the eggshell.
2) Save the dried eggshells from at least two dozen eggs. (Eggshell colors affect the final dyed color.)
3) Pick out your design and size. (8x10: $60, 11x14: $75, 16x20: $120) *Price may vary by design complexity.
4) Send your eggshells to the address you will be given.
5) Receive your art and display it in your home.
*If you wish not to use your own eggshells, they can be provided for only $5.
