So I thought the hatch was over, and started to cleen the incubator out. I started opening eggs to see why they didn't hatch, did about 7 (they were shrink wraped) and then I opened one up and it was moving! since I opened the top around the aircell, the membrane was still intact. I moistened the membrane and carefully poked a hole for the beak to come out, and put it back in the incubator, lukily it didn't bleed. I kept moistening about every hour until midnight when I went to bed. It was still alive in the shell this morning! I moistend it and the veins were no longer bright red, so I pushed the membrain back, wet it some more and put it back. I just came back from the store and it is out! It is peeping and moving all around the incubator! I really hope it makes it! I'm gonna make it its own brooder for now, because all the others are 3 days older. Hopefully when it is stronger it can join them.

I have rescued several shrink wrapped chicks and they are fine. I always check now. Glad to saved it!
