Eglu reviews?

I'll say it again......
Then the chemicals won't work if they do get bugs.
Agree. A good way to look at it is to think about yourself. Tou dont take antibiotics as a precautiona6to not get strep, ear infections, ect. If you did then you would build up am immunity to the antibiotic and it won't work when you actually get sick.

I have had it for 6 month, I raise three hens (buff orphinton). i have zero trouble with this coop. i move the coop once a week. chicken's never have trouble finding their way back home. switched out the waterer and feeder with Royal Rooster Twin Cup Drinker & Feeder Set on amazon. Mixed in Chile Pepper and Paprika into my feed so rodents and critters dont eat from my feed also i add DE to my food mix as a dewormer. My run and coop both have automatic door openers. Chicken free roams the yard during the day. I switch out water and feed weekly and clean out the coop every two weeks, it takes 15 minutes since i dont have a pressure washer you can literally hose down the entire thing. No smell, no mess. I check the chickens for lice every two week have never seen any. Birds nest under my deck has lice so im thinking the DE really helps. I do spread some on the birds every month. Its practically maintanence free. I love it. My neighbor with a wooden coop is always complaining about how i look like i do less work then he does ;). I live in New Jersey in the suburbs. Its gets really hot during the day and really cold at night, thermostat is practically constant inside the coop. Never had any issues. Now Im just waiting for the eggs, they are already dropping into their submissive position when i pet them. So the eggs are coming soon. I hope your experience is as great as mine. It was money well spent from my point of view.

also i use zero chemicals cleaning the coop. have never seen a bug in it. i have lots of bugs where i live, just not in the coop. and I slapped solar panels and a battery together onto the coop to run the automatic door openers and even added motion sensor led light into the coop. My neighbors and friends says my chicken lives in luxury. Water is R.O. water with alkilyne supplement added. so i dont get the white build up from water evaporation. I give them sesame seeds as treats. they go crazy for the stuff.

Thank you for sharing! I still need to put DE in their feed for worms. I do put garlic in their water once almost every once a week. They say good for worms too. My girls a few weeks too young for eggs. I'm predicting end of September or beginning of October. I have been using a hose to clean the main coop. The bird dropping tray and perch I just hose down. Main coop i hosed down once since i got it 1 month ago. Have wiped dowm with vinegar.

I wish they could free range but don't trust hawks or close by neighbors.
