can the young ones of the same pair be mated together? any other info on this breed will be appreciated thanks bill
 
There is nothing I've stumbled across which made me think the Egyptians were any different from other geese (granted they are unusual in appearance, stunning actually). With many rarer breeds, you will be very fortunate to be able to find distant-enough related birds to breed. Therefore sibling breeding is a necessity. Once you build up some numbers, it is better to mate father to his daughters in the line run (line breeding). Inbreeding isn't nearly as devestating to livestock as it is humans. Every breed of livestock was created by humans by inbreeding animals which were related and had similar characteristics. It's not as appalling as it is for people.
