So my chickens have been in corid off and I for thier entire lives. They are 5 months old. Their fecal float test came back positive for a large amount of eimeria. The vet recommended trying corid one more time and seeing if it cleared up. After giving them corid for a week and spot cleaning the coop and run each day after the initial deep clean, the diarrhea is still here. And if they have amore normal looking stool it has intestinal lining in it. The vet recommends I take them to a more experienced poultry vet.
Has anyone had issues with eimeria? Any recommendations on what to do if corid does not clear it up. Today is the first day they are off of corid and I put 1.5 tablespoons/gallon avc in thier water to see if that helps. Thank you.
