Elector PSP and Chicks

I have a couple broody hens that hatched 4 chicks in the last couple days. Today when I removed the newly laid eggs from the others I found a couple mites crawling on them. I'm pretty sure they are northern fowl mites as they are much smaller than the red mites. I have elector psp but is it safe for the chicks? I will not use permetherin as we have several cats and I'm not taking any chances with them, so please hold that suggestion.

The elector is wet so if you can bring them in to get dried off it should be fine.

If not, then I guess I don't know if you won't consider the dry powders.
