Electric chicken netting

Would it be okay to get electric netting for my chickens to fence them in during the day....but not get the energizer kit.....so it would not be electric....

It wouldn't harm them, no. You might be able to find just plain old non-electric chicken netting cheaper if you aren't going to use the electric part of it anyway.

It would work to keep your chickens in, however it wouldn't help to keep the predators out. Dogs or any animal would be able to get them.
