Electric fence for bear protection

So, I ended up getting the 0.7 joule AC unit

Which is supposedly safe for chickens. I got some fiberglass poles, rope style wire and a coil of insulated wire to run the hot and ground. The first night we had a bear and skunk come in, both ran off. Bear has been back in the yard since, but has not messed with the electric fence or gotten near the coop.

Took the dog two tries to figure out to keep away from the fence, but she has got it poor girl.

I'm hoping to start letting the chickens out and see if they figure it out.
