Remember to keep the grass & weeds away from the fence. And keep the ground below the fence moist. If you don't do these two things, the fence won't work properly.
I see that you have six children, each of them will touch the fence to see if it works. But it is an old wives tale about what will happen if you urinate on the hot wire. All of my grand sons tried it.

My kids are all grown and DH has already challenged one of my Ds's to pee on the fence! He didn't accept.
