Well it finally happened...a skunk dug under my pen last night and he came back tonight. Thankfully the hens were already in their coop.

Could you recommend an inexpensive, easy to install electric fence? Or fix. This is going to become an issue quickly.

I want to put it all the way around the coop and run but how will I get in?

Will a shorter fence do the trick to keep out the 'digging under' predators (so I can just step over it)?

Does it get plugged in a normal electrical outlet?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

He is burrowing under the door. The ground is usually rock solid but we recently had a ton of rain.

I don't know what a predator apron is....intrigued nonetheless.

Terrible photo but it's a screenshot from the video I can't upload.

I threw a log in front of the door and jammed a shovel into the ground for a temporary solution.

Will a short electric fence around the coop and run work? Does it have to be tall for them?
