Electric fencing

A wire apron is better at stopping digging.
Electric fence is better at stopping climbing

If you put the wire low enough to stop digging, you will have to be sure to keep the grass constantly trimmed below it

Has anyone electrified their kennels close to the ground to deter fox digging? If so, has it been successful?
Thanks.
The plastic electric fence posts I use, have built in clips that hold the wire. The lowest clip on the post is 6 inches up from the ground. I think the rest of them are 8 inches apart. So far I haven't had any trouble or noticed any predator activity. If you look at my profile I have several pictures of my basic coop and the electric fence set up.
