electrolytes in water

Hi all. I just received my 4 blue swedish ducklings. Does anyone use electrolyte and vitamins in the water?

I sure do. I use both Niacin and Pedialyte in my ducklings water. You can also get something from TSC called Chick Saver comes in little dollar packets that you add to a gallon of water. I use that for my older ducks.

yep. I use it at least once a month all winter. I wont use in the summer as they free range... I know alot of ppl use it on their new babies but I didnt know about it when mine were little... Id prbly use it once or twice a week for the first 6-8 weeks ...

Definetely.
This is all they get to drink in their first 10 days of life. After that once per week until they are 3 months old. After that monthly. While the hens lay eggs they get it every two weeks. For hatching eggs they get it once per week.
