Elvis in the house :D

For a long time I was fascinated with our only autochthonous breed in Slovenia, Styrian Hen.

So two years ago I finally adopted some chicks. And our flock has started...

Let me introduce you to Elvis and his harem!

They are free range, of course. I am really excited about this breed! Great foragers (in sumer up to 80%), great egg production even now in winter, easy to keep, hardy breed, Roos are calm but alert...In all, great breed for any back yard

Last year I also incubated some eggs, 10 of 10 had hatched!



I also have some japanese quail, that I also adopted them and later on hatched some eggs...
