Yesterday we got Elvis!! He is a 7 month old billy

Opinions on having him cut??

Wether him. He might be too old for bands though. In that case you'll have to get a vet to surgically do it instead. It will cost more but be worth it. I wouldn't keep him a buck unless you are breeding.

If you have an elastrator (bander) you can still use it even if the testicles are fairly large. You just pull the scrotum through the band and then work the testicles through one at a time. Be sure to give a tetanus shot. Or you can take him to the vet and have it done. In any case, sooner is better.

We have used bands on bucks up to 2 years of age, if you can get the band around them it works fine.
