Embden Geese Questions

Ok so the Hubby and I want to purchase some Embden geese, we intend to go thru Metzer Farms. There's an 8 goose minimum or an extra charge for going under the min. When I tallied the cost it's the same as 8 goslings so I figure I may as well get the 8. We intend to keep 3 -4 and rehome 4 -5. My questions are can you have a 3 - 1 ratio of females to males? or is 2:1 the way to go? Also is there a board on this site where you can find people in your area to rehome livestock too? My last question is can you use Mazuri waterfowl starter with geese? Thanks a ton.

And i'm thinking most would say 2 to 1 on ratio.. I have an Embden gander and I love him to pieces.
