Emergency Abandoned Chicken

We live in Willington CT and let our chickens free range in our yard. Today we came home and it seems that someone dropped off a chicken in our yard. Any guidance of what we should do will be greatly appreciated. We could support another chicken but we are afraid it is a rooster and if someone could also tell us the breed. Thank you.

Yea thats a bantam rooster of some sort. I dont know much about bantam breeds to tell you what kind.
