I have a Chick about one week old and it tries but can't poop. I've tried using warm water and a qtip but I can't unclog its vent. I attached an image below of what it looks like. Is it pasty butt and I need to try more or is it something else? Thanks in advance!

I've had this happen a few times with a few chicks. All thankfully outgrew it. I did nothing. One would even cheep so loudly every time it pooped. Just make sure the vent remains clear of poop, and let it grow, and see how it goes.

You can feed it little pieces of chilled coconut oil and some sand to help with the constipation.
And keep it hydrated. In case it does not drink enough on its own make it drink several drops of water every hour, but be careful and wait in between the drops to allow for proper swallowing and breathing.

What is the temperature in your brooder?

The temperature is around 97 degrees.

The reason for this is because I had a hen sit on 6 eggs and four hatched. By day 25 she gave up sitting on them so I candled the remaining two and one was infertile while the other appeared to not have movement so I thought it died in the late stages. I rolled the eggs under a fence a little ways away and a week later this Chick came wobbling by my lot peeping. It appears to be around 6 days old and it hatched and miraculously survived the week (there was even a bad storm) outside. I put it under a heat lamp and it only sleeps and I'm can't get it to eat or drink anything. It's basically skin and bones and now it's vent appears clogged. Sry for the long backstory, but to sum it up I need to get some energy in it somehow and unclog its vent.

Energy would be sugar water or a chick electrolyte dripped very slowly in the mouth.
