The incubator that I was suppose to get today has been delayed until Friday! I called a bunch of people trying to see if I could pick it up since it is at the post office only 20 miles from me. But nope, the attitude of the USPS is we provide you a service and we do not want to dig in the boxes to get yours out.
SO FUSTERATING! :barnie

So I have the Muscovy eggs that were laid Sunday and Monday. I was looking at other incubators and none are close to the one I ordered. Looking for my options.
Is it possible to make a temp incubator? they would only be in it for a few days. Do I just wait and hope they remain viable until Friday? not including the day to acclimate the incubator. Or do I just scratch this batch and pick more up this weekend?
Sad that my first egg raising adventure has started off far less that perfect *sigh* :(
Thanks for reading.

The eggs will be fine til Saturday, giving you time to set up and run your bator to ensure it's working well and calibrate your thermometer and hygrometer.

Until then, store your eggs at around 60 degrees, pointed end down, in an egg tray. Put one end of the egg tray up on a block (book?) and then swap it to the other end three times a day (ish). This will tip your eggs and prevent the yolk sticking. The eggs will still be under a week old and perfectly viable so.....breathe in.....breathe out.....stay calm.....and enjoy your upcoming incubation time xxxx
