This is our first at raising chickens, they are only 6 weeks old, but a lot of fun. We live "in the North Country" and it's still too cold for them to go out in their coop, so they are taking up residence in my laundry room. Have to admit I'm anxious for them to graduate to their coop.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. I know it doesn't seem that way now but, you going to miss them when they move out. It's so much easier to check up on them when they are under foot., than when they are out in a coop. But you'll adjust and all that running back and forth counts as exercise which is good - right? ;)

My words from your mouth @drumstick diva! Welcome to BYC and love them when they are young, because you will love them even more later. At that age they can be trained easily. :D
