Emu eggs started March 6th - Hatch-Along

So my lovely female emu gave me 4 eggs and I decided to hatch them! I read someplace that if the male and female aren't breeding that means no eggs (?)... so I took them and though I would try my luck! This will be the longest hatch of my life. LOL.
I also threw some chicken eggs in for an experiment to see if those would hatch too.

I have an older cabinet Dickey with automatic turner and a water system with a float! Fingers crossed.

I doubt I'll be able to candle them at all, so I will have to weigh them.

good luck! I started my incubator on March 3rd, although I had planned on the 6th. But I was being overrun with eggs.
So I'll have cute fluffy yellow chicks for Easter.
