So I bought 5 Emu eggs from a farmer that have had very good luck with hatching their own emu. always 99% of their eggs have hatched. So i was very hopeful with my own eggs i bought from them. And they have very healthy emus. However on the day my eggs turned two and a half week old. The incubator chose not to produce hot air. So when we noticed this it had gone between 1 to 5 hours we are not sure. However the incubator is in the living room so when we checked it had gone down to about 24 Celcius. So my question is.

Is everything lost? Or should i keep turning them? Also if the eggs are dead, will we notice a change in how much weight the egg loose every week?

I know literally nothing about hatching emu eggs, but personally I would keep incubating them until they would have hatched just because you're not sure. If they start to smell horrible, then you know and can stop. But you might as well give them a chance! Assuming you got your incubator fixed though? Also, maybe try posting your question in the emu/ostrich section under the "Other Backyard Poultry" forum. I bet someone would have a more knowledgable answer than mine!
