So I've been wanting to get an emu for awhile now. I may not get one for a long time but my mom seems to like the idea of getting one so maybe I'll get one sooner than later, Either way there are some things I'd like to know.
My main question is: how are they with chickens? Not penned up together but say free ranging together. Would the emu kill them? Accidentally, purposefully or not at all? If they were ok together would an emu keep predators away? such as hawks and cyotes? Could I get one or do they get lonely?
