Encouraging a broody?

I reallllyyy wish one of my cayuga hens would go broody, is there any way to encourage one to?

Leave them a pile of about a dozen eggs in a pile of some fresh straw. It worked for my nutty runner.

Thanks, I'll try it. Wonder if I can give them part duck eggs, part chicken eggs. Hate to waste a bunch of the duck eggs, I sell 'em, lol.

lol... yes that worked for my khaki also - and for some reason the rain helped set off her broody side...
