End of Day 17...I JUST HEARD PEEPING!!!!!

So Hatch date isn't until saturday, but I went out and Candled the eggs one last time. I have them all numbered. There are a few days variation between the 5 eggs under 1 bantam broody. When I looked through Egg #1 I heard a little peep! I put my ear up to the egg for about a minute and I could hear it pecking at the shell and its little claws scratching inside. I am so EXCITED!!!!!

I just hope that my broody hen doesn't mind the couple days variation in my eggs...If not I'll just move them under my other broody. I will keep everyone posted.

Congratulations! They aren't a sure hatch yet though - don't disturb them at his point - they have to have that constant heat and humidity to be able to get out of the shell.
