So the next couple of days in England will be hitting around 39⁰ C (102 F). I have a 3½ YO isa brown and 2 2½ YO silkies. I really need the best tips to keep them cool, especially the fluffies! They do usually sit under our trampoline which is tbh pretty cool. Although not sure how another 10 degrees higher will feel under there! What are the best things to do?

Here are a few things I do during the hot summer days:
- provide chilled foods such as watermelon or frozen blueberries
- keep fresh water available at all times (I also put ice in their water throughout the day to keep it cool)
- wet the ground in their run so they can keep their feet cool
- provide a dust bath area
- put a kiddie pool out for them with stepping stones inside the pool for them to perch on and keep their feet cool
- put a few rechargeable fans out for them or if you have a power source, put a fan (or two) out for them
- if you typically use the deep litter method, don’t during the summer because it makes it hotter for them
- provide shade (sounds like they have this with the trampoline)

Good luck!! ☀️🐥
