English Ivy - help

I read that English Ivy is toxic to chickens. We have tons of this stuff on our property. Will the chickens eat it? There is no way we could get rid of all of it. I want to free range my chickens when I get them. Will they just ignore the ivy? Thanks in advance!

We have the ivy in areas... I just block it off with chicken wire.

There is English Ivy at the edge of my property.
They show no interest in it other digging under it to find worms/bugs.
I wouldn't cage them with it though.
