This is our 30th day of owning chickens. We have 3 bought at pol. We call them The Monochrome Set as they are black, white and grey (breeds in sig) and we haven't properly named them yet, I'm thinking of letting my students run a competition for names!

We live in rural Gloucesterhire and are trying to be at least a little bit self sufficient!

I am also a member of a couple of UK chicken sites but wondered what the UK/US differences in chicken keeping were, so here I am!

Here they are. Excuse the tape and crime sceneness of their run. It is temporary, we are waiting for electric fencing. Without the tape they keep on peering over the top with evil intent
