English silver laced Orpington - Is this normal?

This baby will be 3 weeks old on Monday and not only still practically looks newborn, also doesn’t seem quite as smart as the rest of the flock. (All different breeds). Energetic like the others though. Do you think he/she is ok? Maybe this breed is kind of funny like that? Looks like a little old bald man. I told my husband the Chicken looks like him!

No one has ever had a baby English Orpington? I thought it was a common breed?

Not really in the U.S., not to mention that color. I gave the help I could, but that's it apart from just looking it up on google

I have had one. Best bird ever. She was incredibly slow to develop. Took FOREVER to feather out. Tail came in very late.

English Orpingtons tend to develop slower. They are also very gentle, so maybe that is why she seems dim? I adore mine.
