The Octagon 20 Eco Fully Automatic Turning Incubator.

Hovabator and Novital are the same price but the hova is about twice the size, how does the polystyrene hold up?

Brinsea is the most expensive, but I've heard good things about them.

This will be a first attempt and budget is important, but if it's really worth streatching, I might.

Would love to hear personal experence

The only one I know anything about is the Hovabator. They work pretty well. I was useing one until last year. I built a large Cabinet type & don't use it anymore. The styrofoam holds up really well. Good luck in choosing.

The hovabator, and the brinsea octagon are supposed to be good ones. The covatutto Eco isn't available in the US, so I'm not sure on that one. I remember my DH looking up that covatutto awhile back, and found some reviews of it on an Italian web page. I think it had mixed reviews. Someone was looking for parts for it. There was a web page for parts you could buy for that particular incubator.

I'm using the Brinsea now and am sold on that

It's the most "fool-proof" bator I've ever tried, and our hatch rate with it has been 90%-100% I know it's prizy, but personally I think it's worth it, especially after reading about all the trouble some have had with theirs.

If I thought the Hovabator would hold up, it's twice the size of the other's
