Enjoying our evening routine.

One of my sweet black australorp girls enjoying our nightly ritual.

Everyone comes over to the run (they free range all day) to get the last bites and and water before heading to the coop. While those on the higher level pig out at the feeders, I gather a little feed get it wet and make treat balls. The littles all come over and partake of their "treat". I get to hand feed them and they think that they are getting a treat.

It is all I have, just the BAs. I want blue australorps, but just haven't found the right ones yet.

My first flock was all Black Australorps, I fell head over heels for them. Love the Blue Australorps, I've never kept them but they are pretty!! ❤

I got 2 more black's this past spring after having one in my mixed flock for over 2 years now.
Our 'Roadie' is my friendliest bird we have. Highly recommend this breed with daily smiles.
