Entertaining my turkeys

Any ideas on how to keep my heavy whites entertained for a weekend while we are away? They have access to their pen and house but they seem very bored. We let them out to free range around the property twice a day when we are outside. We are going away for the weekend and I feel bad leaving them.

They will be fine in the pen and coop. It will be change so they won't necessarily like it, but they'll get over it. I don't know that you have to keep them "entertained". They will just be that much happier with you when you come home and let them out.

Turkey's are so very inquisitive. Put something new and interesting in their run...a pile of leaves or weeds pulled from your garden...heck a soccer ball...a couple of empty plastic milk jugs...a cracked watermellon...
