I believe my flock have depluming mites. I used Ivermectin last year and hated that we couldn't sell our eggs. We ate them but can't sell or give it to others. Eprinex do not have a withdrawal period and very little is said about Eprinex.
Does it work on depluming mites?? I have read of very few in this group that used it.Thanks

The problem with treating birds with those two products, is the mites die on the bird but not anywhere else they're hiding. As soon as the products wear off in the birds, the surviving mites can jump right back on a bird again.

The coop and the outside of the coop, when it may be known where they're coming from, need to be treated, too.

You could use the Eprinex for the depluming mites, but then I'd be sure to get permethrin powder and sprinkle that over the floor, nest boxes, roosts, and everything else. Repeat that in 10 days. I'd repeat that every month if you're having a recurring problem. Good luck!
