Erratic egg laying

I am a new chicken owner. My girls are just over 5 mos old. One of them started laying last week. She laid 5 eggs in 6 days, no apparent problems. Well, now she has gone three days without laying. She did spend a couple of hours in the nesting box yesterday, but no egg. Should I be worried? She seems fine, eating, drinking, pooping, walking fine, looking for bugs... Just wasn't sure if in the beginning, they could be erratic like this...

I am a total newbie, but I have heard from some other people on the boards here that when they are new layers, it can take them some time to find a rhythm. I would be interested to hear others' opinions as I have new layers as well.

Even my mature chickens don't lay every day. I have 9 hens over 1 year old. Typically I get 7 eggs a day. Sometimes 9, but usually 7.
