so as some of you know, i have inside muscovies. i give them a bath once a day in my bathtub that no one else. the shower head sucks and we don't own this house so who cares HAHA. well today i was giving my babies (they aren't babies anymore lol) a bath. i always feed them in the bath because my drake likes to hunt stuff on the bottom of the tub. so i was holding the scooper for quackers my female and i think as i was feeding her she was planning an escape plan. after a while she flapped her wings and got me and billie (my bunny) wet then jumped out of the tub and ran to my bedroom. oh by the way she screamed the whole time she did this HAHAHHA. she flew to the pen and perched there. bathtime wasn't over yet and i wasn't done cleaning our bedroom so i picked her up and she flew out of my hands and i escorted her to the bathroom and she got back in the tub lol.

never ever a dull moment with ducks!!

SSSOOOOOO cute I can just see her running back to your room. Hope she didnt make too much mess dripping on the way back to your room.

I have 11 babies that are escorted to the tub for a swim- but its esier now to get them all out side for a splash since they dont have much room if I put them all in the tub.

lol the mess wass cleaned up by billie the bunny. she licked up the water. now she's trying to eat mac and cheese!!!!!!!!!!!! crazy animals!!!

I would have been soooo mad! Lol.

lol with water all over my face all i could do was laugh. poor billie she was wet too and darted for the bedroom then went to clean up quackers mess after she went back in lol.

My scovy girl has done the same thing. Chasing her down the hall all i could say was "please don't poop" over and over again. Meanwhile the Pekin in the bath tub was going crazy over missing out on all the action. After that we had to close the bathroom door when they had indoor bath time.

hahaha. i am surprised actually that my drake didn't go nuts. i though for sure when i opened the door that he'd jump out, but he didn't thank goodness. my drank always seems to poop in the hall so i have to clean it up. as soon as i say to myself please don't poo please don't poo one of them does. grrr lol.

Ever notice how quickly they all poop again after clean bedding is put down?????? It seems the first thing mine do when out back into a clean brooder is poop.... More annoying when its a duck kept on towels- there is already so much washing to do............

HAHAHAHA YOUR TELLIN MEEE!! ms. towel lady lol. oh and don't forget the sheets. idk if i told you but i've been laying sheets down for thier poopy lol. i swear duckie waits to come back in here before he poops!!!!!!!!!
