it really depends on the type of system you want (shock only, how many settings, how large an area you need to enclose, etc). Also remember that many dogs can get collar-wise. That is they learn that if they aren't wearing that certain collar that they can escape.
Another option is to simply run a strand of hotwire a few inches out from the fence.
