Is it safe to use eucalyptus mulch on ths floor of my chook house, they get locked up at night but free range all day i have heard pine & cedar mulch are poisonious is eucalyptus poisonious to ??

Pine is safe as long as in pine bedding but Cedar and Eucalyptus is toxic.

Hi, I was thinking of using mulch on the chuck shed floor and trying to find out which sort is safe? Pine bedding do you mean shavings? Some of the mulch have a mixture of woods in them some of them none toxic, but the chooks get locked up at night would there be fumes coming off the mulch that is harmful to them, they roost off the floor on perches & free range through the day.Would it br better if the mulch was aged as usualy its freshly mulched
